Let the Light Seep In
I see gray.
I see flowers popping up.
I see beauty starting to grow from the dead grass beneath it.
I see the sun trying to shine through the clouds.
I see brighter days ahead.
I think I’m ready to let the light seep in.
It’s been a long time since I’ve written like this—for others to read, for me to process, for God to gently speak through His creation.
Life has felt gray. The clouds were heavy, and the sunlight felt distant. For a while, I couldn’t tell if anything was growing beneath it all.
But now, as I look around and see everything beginning to bloom, it feels like God is gently reminding me: this new season isn’t just for the birds and the trees and the flowers.
It’s for me too.
I can feel myself coming back to life, just like the daffodils emerging from the ground. The grass that looked dead was never truly dead—it was just winter.
And even in the places that still feel bare, I believe something beautiful is beginning to bloom. God is not done with me.
I’m ready to let the sun in.
To grow.
To shine.
To trust that God still has a plan for me.
So if life has felt gray for you, too...
If you've been wondering whether anything good is still growing beneath the surface -
Let this be your reminder:
The grass isn't dead.
It was just winter.
There's a new season beginning.
And God isn't done with you either.
The day something started to bloom again - right here, in me. 🌸
